From first booking to final chair
One book for every chair in your shop
App bookings, walk-ins, phone calls and WhatsApp all land in the same day view — and two of them can never take the same slot.
No contract. No card. Your data stays yours.
Demo data — never a real shop’s bookings
What it replaces
The whole day, understood
From opening time to the final chair, everyone works from the same day — with the source, duration and barber already clear.
- 01 A WhatsApp thread you scroll back through to find a name
- 02 Calls you miss because everyone is holding a razor
- 03 A paper book only one person can hold at a time
- 04 Guessing whether the 11:00 chair is actually free
One book, on every screen in the shop, saying the same thing.
The whole day, on one screen
One column per barber from opening to close. Each block is as tall as the service is long, and coloured by where the booking came from — so you can see at a glance whether the day is filling from the app or from the street.
Demo data — never a real shop’s bookings
The customer books
They find the shop, choose a service and barber, and only see times that are actually free.
The shop runs the day
The team adds walk-ins, watches every chair and closes out visits from their own phone.
Real app screens, captured with demo data
Everything the shop does, in one place
Jaylak is not a calendar with a booking form bolted on. It is the day itself — who is in which chair, what they booked, where the booking came from, and what the shop took at the end of it.
The customer app
Where your customers find the shop, pick who they want, and book a slot that is really free — at any hour, without calling anyone.
The business app
Everyone who works in the shop opens the same app, and each of them gets a different one: the owner, reception, and every specialist on the floor.
From the shop page to booked
These are the customer app’s real screens. Times already in the book show crossed out, because the app reads the same day the shop is working from.
-
01 Open the shop
-
02 Choose the barber
-
03 Take a time that is really free
-
04 Confirm, and pay at the shop

One rule that does not negotiate
Two bookings can never take the same chair
Most systems check whether a slot is free and then save the booking. In the gap between those two steps, a second booking can slip in. Jaylak makes the database itself reject the overlap, so the gap does not exist — no matter how many people are booking at once.
Walk-in · Mohamed Adel · 10:30
That slot was just taken. Pick another time.
The same system. Exactly enough for each role.
Nobody gets handed a screen full of things that are not their job. The app each person opens contains only what their role is for — and where money is concerned, that is enforced by the server, not by hiding a menu item.
The owner
The whole shop: the day, every booking, your specialists, your services, your customers, your settings — and the money, which stops here.
Reception
The shop calendar, walk-ins and phone bookings, your customers, and closing out a visit at the end of it. No revenue, anywhere.
A specialist
Their own chair and nothing else: their day, their calendar, their clients, what they earned, and their own profile.
Jaylak holds the details that usually break the day
Run the day
One column per barber, ten-minute precision, updating live as bookings arrive.
The book → 02Never double-book
Four booking sources, one book, and a database rule that refuses any overlap.
Bookings → 03Set the shop up once
Barbers, working hours, split shifts and a price list in Arabic and English.
Team and services → 04Know your numbers
Chair occupancy, an activity log, and revenue only the owner login can reach.
Reports →Arabic is not a translation. It is the starting point.
Every screen works in Egyptian Arabic and in English, laid out right-to-left when it should be. Your service names, your customers, your staff — in the language they actually use.
Run it through a real working week
We set it up on your shop and you run a real week on it. No contract, no card, no commitment at the end.
- Your barbers, your hours and your price list, entered for you
- Reception set up on a screen you already have
- Owner, reception and specialist logins, split the way you want them
- The business app on your team’s phones
- A walkthrough with whoever runs your reception
- Your data exported and yours to keep, whatever you decide
Before you start
Do I have to stop taking walk-ins and phone bookings?
No — the opposite. Walk-ins, phone calls and WhatsApp messages go into the same book as app bookings, each marked with where it came from. Jaylak is built around how you already take bookings, not around replacing it.
Do you take a commission on bookings?
No. There is no commission, no per-booking fee and no payment processing in the product. Money changes hands in the shop the way it does now.
What if my barbers are not comfortable with apps?
Nothing in the shop depends on them using one. A specialist who never opens the app still has their day in the book, entered by reception — the app is there for the ones who want their own screen.
Does it work in Arabic?
Yes, throughout — both apps and every role inside them, in Egyptian Arabic, laid out right-to-left. It is not a translation layer added at the end.
What happens to my data if I stop using it?
You export it and it is yours. Bookings, barbers and customers all come out as CSV.
Run a real week on it
Tell us about your shop and we will set it up with your barbers, your hours and your prices. You decide afterwards.
